The brief here was to create a suspended artwork in front of the podium. Functionally the work sits at a junction: two apartment buildings, one address. The simplicity of one and two continues in concept and material. One disc folded in half creates two semi-circles; two discs and two colours, one for each building — anchored by a sweep of linework across a battened façade. Shifts of light and shadow bring subtle variation.
